Alexander Prang completed the bachelor programme in mathematics with minor field computer science in March 2016. Therefore he received the degree of Bachelor of Arts from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. In his bachelor thesis he proved the existence of Nash equilibria in finite normal-form games. After that he started the master programme in these subjects to receive the degree of Master of Education. His master thesis is about iPads in teaching to support self-motivation for learning and media literacy. For this he carried out an evaluation at a school in Berlin.
From January 2014 to October 2017 he worked as a student assistant at this chair. Since November 2017 he works as a research assistant at this chair as well as at the Weizenbaum Institute for the Networked Society (German Internet Institute). His research focuses on competence models for the respective internet-related topics.
