Leo Sylvio Rüdian received his Master‘s Degree in computer science from Humboldt University in October 2017. At his master thesis he explored the deanonymization of people using social media networks like Facebook. He investigated into technologies of public available data and combined it with browser-history-stealing. The thesis had shown that identities can be derived during a successful attack.

Since November 2017 he works as a research fellow at the Weizenbaum Institut and he joined the research group of Prof. Pinkwart. His research focuses on machine learning, learning analytics and educational data mining.
